Meet Henry Zukowski

An educator, having taught for 39 years, both Elementary and Secondary School, Henry enjoys interacting with students at all levels. His passion has been in missions for many years, having assisted with the co-ordination of the short-term mission program at MEI (Mennonite Educational Institute) and has led numerous teams to various countries in the world including Guatemala, Philippines, Thailand, Zambia as well as India. He has also facilitated the Alpha program at one of the prisons in the lower Fraser Valley for 17years, having come to see God’s redeeming grace impact the lives of many inmates. 

He currently is serving as campus chaplain at Columbia Bible College and also does the occasional subbing at MEI covering a mix of classes including band, art and woodworking. He is married and has 3 adult children who all enjoy cooking and share their culinary skills on a regular basis. In his spare time, he enjoys reading mysteries, playing the piano, baking muffins, going for nature walks, as well as meeting up with former and current students at the SippChai Café!
