Happy New Year, We wish that you all will be abundantly blessed in 2019! We want to say from the bottom of our hearts how grateful we are to everyone who has joined with us in prayer, encouragement and financial support in 2018. Thanks to all of you and your heart to help our vision to save at-risk youth from extreme poverty and human trafficking, we had an amazing end to  2018, filled with provision and love. Many of you who follow us regularly know we had some unexpected financial obstacles late in 2018 and we were trusting for provision to carry out our Christmas and New Year outreaches to schools, hospitals, and villages and that we needed a new fridge at Life Line Youth Development Centre our home base in Chiang Rai, and to pay the extra immigration fees incurred this year and, finally trusting our prayers answered, to receive our Official Canadian Charity Status. Well, prayers are answered and hearts are moved to help, thank you to amazing supporters in Vancouver and Kamloops areas, British Columbia Canada, we paid those fees and bought that fridge. Thanks to amazing supporters from Canada, Singapore, UK, United States and Abundant Grace Church Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai, all the outreaches to help sick children and children living in extreme poverty became a reality. The other amazing news we got before this year end, thank you for standing in prayer with us for this, was that our application for Charity Status had been officially approved by CRA, with an effective date of June 29, 2018, Good news for all of you in Canada who gave faithfully from the heart with no expectation of anything in return. All donations received directly to World Wide Life from Canadian donors since June 29, 2018, will receive a tax receipt for your 2018 donations. Christmas week we visited the hospital to give Christmas Gifts to sick children and to pray for those who requested it, we also visited two remote villages to distribute warm blankets and Christmas treats and in January will complete this outreach by distributing these items at the Hill Tribe boarding School as well. Christmas day with our girls and a couple of friends was amazing, filled with love, laughter, excitement, fellowship and of course awesome food.  Two of the girls got up and washed the car Christmas morning and we both received beautiful messages of love from the girls on homemade cards. On Dec 28th, we drove to Thip’s home village, an extremely poor and remote Lahu Hill Tribe village in the mountains near Mae Ai (Chiang Mai province) and enjoyed some beautiful scenery along the way. As many times as we visit these remote villages, it never ceases to amaze us how poor and primitive this lifestyle is, and the lack of resources and opportunity for youth, which of course leads to the continuing cycle we combat every day. It strengthens us to know we are doing our part to provide those opportunities and to continue in our call to make life better for Hill Tribe youth. Again as we embrace our 4th New Year in Thailand, none of this would have been possible without your faithful hearts and belief in God’s plan here in Chiang Rai. Thank you again! We look forward to sharing an even more amazing 2019 with you all!
